Powder Coating

Powder coating is an application for coating and finishing surfaces. It is more robust that most paints but does not need a solvent to keep it free flowing while being applied.

Typically powder coating is used on metals in buildings, on vehicle parts and on factory equipment. The addition of epoxy and polyester to powder coating gives it its protection and anti-corrosion qualities. Epoxy powder coating is often used on factory equipment and in other engineering or industrial settings because of its tough, protective qualities. Polyester powder coatings are useful for metal garden furniture and fencing, vehicle or buildings parts that will be exposed to outside weather. Epoxy Polyester powder coating is often used on material that is unlikely to be exposed to ultra violet light.
