M + M Webb and Son Ltd., are a small Northamptonshire based family firm and specialist industrial machine tool suppliers for the past 28 years.
Mick and Monica Webb began supplying industrial machine tools on a small scale from a Northamptonshire farm, before moving to larger premises on Finedon Road, Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, in the UK. After leaving school, Graham Webb joined our industrial machine tool suppliers business, with emphasis on the sales side. His sister, Donna joined the accounts section of the business, following training and experience with the banking industry.
Over the years, M + M Webb and Sons Ltd. has increased their customer base, to include the whole of the UK, Ireland, and mainland Europe, including Denmark. Outside of Europe, other markets include the USA, India, Nigeria, United Arab Emirates and Malaysia. These are in addition to the original customers, who have supported us and purchased our products from the start.
In 2000, Donna emigrated to Canada, and the following year saw Mick and Monica retire, leaving Graham at the helm. Since then, we relocated to our warehouse site on Compton Road, again in Wellingborough, in order to keep our extensive range of new and used machinery under one roof. Our loyal multi-skilled workforce of four people, comprises of: the Director, Graham Webb; our long-serving Lathe Specialist and Paint Sprayer, David Johnson; Martin Woolford, our Engineer and Welder, and our Secretary and Accounts person, Sue Wager. David has worked for M + M Webb for eighteen years, with Martin having worked for us for fourteen years and Sue for six years.
As industrial machine tool suppliers, we provide fair and cheerful service with personal attention the key to our success. This is further helped by upgrading our systems with the latest IT technology. We have seen great changes in the way we promote ourselves as industrial machine tool suppliers, for Northamptonshire, UK, with the internet, email and digital photography providing the greatest impact.
