Category Modular Buildings

Modular buildings are sectional prefabricated buildings, consisting of sections or modules joined together to form one complete structure.  These box-shaped modules are erected at a remote construction facility before being transported to the site of use.  Here they are lifted by crane onto pre-set foundations and connected together to form one whole building.  Depending on the structure required they may be connected end-to-end, side-by-side or even stacked on top of one another to form multiple stories.

Some uses for modular buildings: Long-term, temporary or permanent, Construction sites, Schools and classrooms, Civilian and military housing, Commercial or industrial facilities, Retail offices, Restaurants
