Group Rhodes Put On A Show At MACH 2018

Group Rhodes, a leading manufacturer of hot and cold forming equipment for composites, automotive and aerospace, had a great response to its exhibition stand at the recent MACH 2018 show at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham.

The company exhibited a 60 tonne straight-sided Mechanical Press fitted with an Atkin Automation 300mm-wide Servo Feeder and an Atkin Automation SP300 Spacesaver Decoiler.

The Group Rhodes stand was very busy throughout the exhibition, providing a great opportunity to meet existing and new customers and discuss future metal forming projects.

During the exhibition, Group Rhodes’ CEO Mark Ridgway was presented with a certificate of Membership of the MMMA (Metalforming Machinery Makers’ Association) by its Chairman, Adrian Haller of Bruderer. Group Rhodes is now the longest serving member of the MMMA having joined almost 70 years ago back in 1949!

This was the first exhibition where Group Rhodes promoted its partnership with Metalworking partner, Dr Hochstrate Maschinenbau of Germany. Group Rhodes has become the UK and Ireland distributor for its Hydraulic Long Bed Folding Machines and Guillotines.

Group Rhodes CEO Mark Ridgway said: “We had a very busy and successful show at MACH.  It was also a great opportunity to discuss with customers about our new agreement with metalworking partner Dr Hochstrate Maschinenbau.  We expect this partnership will open up new market sectors for us to explore new avenues of business.”
