Category Access Equipment

Access equipment is used in industry to help aid efficiency, reduce labour time and help to ensure a safer working environment. Examples of such access equipment include the following.

Scissor lifts are useful in industrial and construction work environments. They allow the  transfer of materials ans supplies. Scissor lifts enable industries to perform tasks such as transferring heavy  goods from a ground floor to higher levels. This is work that previously would have required a team of people and can be carried out using a scissor lift and a single operator. Boom lifts, similarly  are used frequently in the construction industry. There are a number of different boom lifts on the market today; telescopic booms, articulating booms, knuckle boom and straight boom.

More examples of more simple access equipment is the ladder, a simple a vertical or inclined set of rungs or steps. Aluminium ladders are probably the most popular in the market place. The cost of these ladders varies and depends mainly on their functionality. Similarly, scaffolds are more simple. They  can be  erected quite easily from steel or timber. Scaffolding is used to provide easy access to high elevations of a building or other structure under construction or repair. Scaffolding can be fixed or mobile.

There are also many other options available to operators of commercial and industrial businesses including  personnel lifts and access platforms.

4 x 4 28m Cherry Picker

The Height Rider 28 (HR28) Hybrid Four-Wheel-Drive (4×4) is one of a new generation of environmentally conscious work platforms from Niftylift. Combining advanced power-source technology with efficient 4×4, it delivers outstanding performance from a compact and low-weight design.

The HR28 Hybrid 4×4 can operate on battery alone, making it ideal for indoor, quiet or clean applications. Diesel Re-Gen recharges the batteries without a mains power source and a fast charge is achieved whenever the machine is idle and the engine is left running.

On Diesel, the HR28’s revolutionary Hybrid system can automatically utilise its electric motor to boost power whenever needed. This allows the HR28 Hybrid 4×4 to operate with a smaller engine, reducing fuel consumption and its exhaust purification system then further reduces CO/NOx, particulates, and noise emissions.

The HR28 Hybrid 4×4 also incorporates Niftylift’s multi award-winning SiOPS® safety system. SiOPS® eliminates sustained involuntary operation by instantly stopping machine movement if the operator is pushed onto the control console, allowing them to safely recover their situation.
